It isn’t, it might be better built and have more functions, but it lacks understated class that the S-Class always had.

The S-Class interior is just ridiculous busy, it may be the best in the world when it comes to materials and comfort, but it is ugly. The new 7-Series interior is clean, minimalistic and tastefull, the same for the A8. But the XJ’s and Ghost’s interiors are masterpieces when it comes to design

I quite liked the last gen S-Class interior. It felt like a lot of stuff was happening, which is right for a Mercedes flagship, but it didn’t looked like it.

I honestly don't think someone could pay me to drive one. I saw a new C Class in person and was honestly disgusted with the design and how blobby it was. Shame because the previous gen looked great.
